Not sure what happened, exactly, but the blog is back

The blog is back, but in a different format and different address, for now. The past WordPress entries are gone, but something tells me WordPress was the problem, as the blog was getting hammered with spam. Mebbe someone out there in blog land knows the answer, because the Web stats went all haywire. We never came close to using all the bandwidth. At any rate, we're back to the old format, which is fine with me. The photo? An old elk jaw. Death to spammers!
As far as a new server, well, I dunno. That's way more complicated than I thought. Time will tell...
We're back (sort of)

OK, so here's what happened. GoDaddy (the company that hosts this site) noticed (after about six months) that this site was getting roughly 1 million page views a month. So they took down the WordPress hosted blog, but not the whole site, and told me I had to upgrade. I then upgraded, and they said the new server would be up in less than three days. Well, it's day four and still no server, I suspect it's because it's a holiday weekend.
At any rate, this blog is a patch of sorts, until I can get the WordPress blog and the new server up.
In the meantime, Memorial Day weekend is living up to its usual charms with heavy rain. West Glacier has seen nearly an inch and a half of rain in the past 48 hours. Here, a female black-headed grosbeak feeds in a Hawthorn bush. I'm getting out nonetheless. Rainy days, if you can stand them, do present some good photographic opportunities.
